Myst 4 Revelation Walkthrough

The following are a few solutions to many of the puzzles in Myst 4 Revelation.
Do not continue unless you want spoilers to the puzzles.
Bear with me as I update as I play.

Power Puzzle in Tomahna

 

After Atrus leaves in the beginning, he asks you to get power back to the rest of Tomahna. First thing you must do is find the dam. Once you find it you must reset the power by pulling the lever.

Go to Catherine's Garden Hut and look for the power station (pic shown right) The top row of buttons takes power from specified areas, and the bottom row is where they end up. Your Goal is to get the sections from the dam lit up to the green light (not white or red). The dam lights are the two center lights. The button on the right executes, the lever on the left resets the puzzle.

This is what the two center lights should look like. When you're done go back to the dam and turn the power back on.

Bookshelf Puzzle

Yeesha's bookshelf has 16 books that have names written in D'ni. In Yeesha's Journal and in the lower garden in the first hut in Tomahna (shown left) when the light is shone on the wall, has the family tree of Atrus's family.

Near Yeesha's room is a book that translates D'ni (shown right)

 

Once the books on the bookshelf have been translated there will be 5 recognizable ones. If pressed in order (shown left) it will let you down to the lower level.

Fireplace

Once in the fire place just press the buttons in the following order.

 

Ship Elevator

You can move the cannonballs and one of the boxes. There is a counterweight system in place.

Move the box out of the interior. Place cannonballs into this until two are left outside of the box. Move the box into the interior. Find the other box. Put cannonballs in it until only one is remaining outside the box.

Pull the lever and when you reach the top move the box onto the walkway.

Mangree Totem

If you manage to find this totem pole, you must listen to the Mangree's throughout the game. The three wheels make 3 different sounds. For this one, if you turn the 3rd wheel 1 1/2 times around, the 1st wheel 1/2 times around and the 3rd one again 1 1/2 times around they Mangree's will leave and you'll be able to see the design on the totem pole.

Haven Bridge

At the end of the swamp, you'll find a bridge. Up high is a lever and if you pull it it will reveal the bridge puzzle.

In Achenars Journal it gives a list of animals. Throughout Haven there are totem poles that have animals near them. The order of this puzzle is by the animals. One of them is blocked, but you can figure out which one it is by using the bones next to them.

Camoudile Puzzle

Find and take pictures of the four mangree sketches in the lakehouse (1 in desk, 2 inside chest, 3 on table upstairs, 4 behind painting upstairs)

Your goal from the south forrest (picture left) is to get the Camoudile to fall in the pit and get the all white Mangree to be in the left most tree and hit him with a fruit. To do that turn the 3 wheels in the following order:

W1 turn .5; W3 turn 1.5
W3 turn 1.5; W2 turn .5
W1 turn .5; W3 turn 1.5
W1 turn 1.5; W2 turn 1.5
W2 turn .5; W1 turn .5
W1 turn .5; W3 turn 1.5
W3 turn 1.5; W2 turn .5
W1 turn 1.5; W2 turn 1.5
W3 turn 1.5; W2 turn .5
W1 turn .5; W3 turn 1.5
W3 turn 1.5; W1 turn .5; W2 turn .5 (and do it quickly)

Now head down to the forest.

Chair and Snake Handle
For the puzzle at the end of Haven, just pet the snake's right most coil on the fourth line down in a right to left motion four times.
